What if Volunteer EMT's didn't volunteer?

The Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad consists entirely of volunteers. Members are always needed. The Squad will outfit and train you to insure that you will be able to carry on the excellent community service tradition of the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad.

To join the squad, the following requirements must be met:

• Be a Citizen of the United States of America
• Be a resident of the Town of Boonton, Boonton Twp. or Mountain Lakes
• Be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Have a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Have the desire and dedication to help others

After joining, you will be expected to do the following:

• You will be on probation for a minimum of three months
• You will be expected to attend 90% of all calls, drills and meetings
• Complete an EMT course
• Become certified in CPR at the healthcare provider level

After joining, the Squad will do the following:

• Provide ongoing training
• Outfit you with a shirt and jacket
